Visitor

They say nothings last forever
But diamonds are
Well at least the one who kept it doesn't
like sadness or pain or a long dark tunnel
They say it shall pass too
And so does happiness

Life is sort of temporary after all

Like a you or a me or a we
Are we just some kind of visitor in this world? Or in each other's life?
Nothing stays too long
And things tend to be long gone before we realize that they had visit us once

Consider myself to pet a diamond instead, but wouldn't it be such a burden for this short temporary kind of life?
