celebrating at home was not feel so bad
at all
at least ~ the burden of pretending to have a fine life
in front of those relatives you barely meet lift off
and you don’t have to force a giggle on those questions
you don’t want to answer .
or worrying that your phone battery is dying and you actually have to talk with those people , rather than of acting busy with your phone while all u did was scrolling down the timeline on somebody else’s living room.
instead u spent those time
with those who really matter
and have an actual day offs where u can watch all those series without the fear of running of battery.
guess Eid during pandemic is a clear truth that
A visit between human without any substantial affection is merely just an act of wasting gasoline
well i do still miss some Eid special dishes serves on each household we used to visit
